This little lady is very special. We choose the best male we could find to compliment her dam and WOW, this girl is stunning!
Versace is carrying a very dense fleece and this trait is hard coated into her DNA from both the top and bottom of her ARI. When you pry her fleece open, the amount of brightness that greets your eye is electric. The tight bundles of fleece look like rickrac trim because of the high frequency, deep buckle crimp style. This crimp is uniform across her blanket and all the way down her belly and legs. From shoulder the haunch and side to side, this fleece is uniform in a fine micron.
This incredible fleece is carried on a very correct and well boned frame. Her bite is correct. Her mum was a very attentive, easy birther and a tremendous milker. Versace was over 75 pounds at 6 months of age when she was weaned.
These are traits that take years to develop and after 15 years of owning alpacas, this girl is the best we have every owned.
We are looking forward to getting this girl into the show ring and seeing how she stands up against the best from other farms.
