The results of Angelo's skin biopsy are simply amazing! 90.25 follicules per SQ MM!
Dr. Evans says and I quote: "Rick/Char, you guys are doing something right. These are two awesome males." (Angelo and Made To Order).
Angelo "was biopsied as a 21 month old white huacaya male. He shows fiber clusters that are very uniform in size, shape and placement as seen on his 15X scan. This may trait may have come from his dam. His true density is 90.25 follicles SQ MM of skin. 25 fiber clusters showed an average of S/P of 14.2 to 1. He show level 3 of 4 gland presence which is a genetic trait pass to the off spring in the form of fiber brightness. ... His AFD is 17,7 microns. Angelo's stats are extremely strong for male passed genetic traits."
Angelo has a well balanced, compact body style. He has a micro bundling fleece which is extremely bright and has a high frequency crimp. The micron is extremely uniform and the fleece has a wonderful handle. He has full coverage from head to toe.
At $3,900, he is an excellent bargain for a junior herdsire if you need to add these characteristics to your herd.
