What can we say about the amazing Miss M? She is comformationally correct with wonderful bone structure. Her fleece is stunning. Her 2009 yearling fleece clean annualized weight was 4.2 lbs after skirting! That fleece went on to win the 2009 AOBA World Fleece Show Fawn Female Championship. Is is bright, fine and has the bundles of zipper crimp that judges love.

Mapiya's skin biopsy from Dr. Norm Evans revealed she had four fiber clusters with an S/P ratio of 14.25 to 1 and twenty five fiber clusters with an average S/P of 13.7 to 1. The density study results was 70 follicles per SQ MM of skin. The average density that Dr. Evans evaluates is 39 to 40 follicles per SQ MM and the average S/P ratio is about 9 to 1. Dr. Evans states "Mapiya rates in the top 3% of females that I have evaluated when considering all points." Dr. Evans also referred to Mapiya as "Seed Stock!"

Mapiya is truly a champion female and will produce champions for us. Mapiya easily birthed her first cria that hit the ground at 23.5 lbs. She had no problems birthing this big boy and his brightness was stunning even before he was dry.

She passes on her brightness, density and solid frame. She is an excellent mother with an easy going nature which makes her a joy to own and manage!
