Black Sheep Flower Farm

Welcome to Black Sheep Flower Farm, a dedicated flower farm located on the scenic bluffs of the Illinois River. Our mission is to grow exceptional, chemical-free cut flowers, while also providing a unique camping experience. Our guests are surrounded by vast fields of blooming flowers and can enjoy breathtaking views of restored prairies and wetlands as they explore the beautiful Spoon River Valley.

With over two decades of experience in landscaping, gardening, and cultivating organic vegetables and flowers, Ben has dedicated six years to perfecting the development of our farm. He focuses on aligning our offerings with the natural cycle of the seasons, while implementing strategies for managing the land such as mowing, burning, and eliminating invasive plants. His love for nature makes him feel deeply connected to the stunning bluffs of our region.

Dennis Monn, a native of Lewistown, manages our camping facilities. His rustic and mindful accommodations invite visitors to experience the tranquility of the river valley, a place his family has cherished for generations. Dennis has also rekindled his passion for ceramics, creating unique floral vessels with ancient techniques and local clay. We are proud to host special events on our land, such as U-pick events that commence in August.
