Chatham Marketplace

Chatham Marketplace is a cooperative grocery that will be located in the historic Chatham Mills in downtown Pittsboro! The time has truly come for a full-service organic food co-op in Chatham County! Our vision as a community-owned grocery and gathering place is to provide exceptional food products to area consumers utilizing, as much as possible, our local, small, sustainable farmers. Chatham Marketplace will provide outstanding products to people who want to know where and how their food is raised, provide a fulfilling workplace and shopping experience and provide an incentive for the continued preservation and growth of our local agrarian life. Chatham Marketplace will sell sustainable/ organic produce, grocery, deli/salad bar items, bakery, bulk, meat and seafood and health and beauty products. The co-op will be located at 480 Hillsboro Street in downtown Pittsboro. We anticipate a November 2005 opening.
