Cypress Frio Waters

We are a family run ranch since 1883 located on the beautiful Frio River about 3 miles north of Leakey, Texas. We would like to share our Texas Hill Country experience in unmatched accommodations, hospitality and scenery at Cypress Frio Waters. Whether you are relaxing with friends and family for a week or just a weekend, our cabins offer you a memorable experience wrapped in comfort and luxury overlooking the Frio River. Located on more than 50 acres within the ranch, Cypress Frio Waters provides an opportunity for guests to refresh their mind, body and spirit in a natural setting not previously opened to the public. Guest may choose seven custom designed river rock cabins, including both duplexes and single cabins*-- all which are uniquely decorated and include linens, fully furnished kitchenettes and outdoor barbeque grills. Each duplex offers both a king size bed and queen sofa bed and is capable of sleeping up to four individuals. The single cabins offer two queen size beds and are also capable of sleeping up to four people. In addition, all lodgings offer spectacular front porch views with private access to the Frio River approximately 75 yds. away. The river is shaded by a canopy of majestic cypress trees, some more than 300 years old. Highway 90 runs in conjunction with I-10 in downtown San Antonio. From downtown San Antonio, take Hwy 90 West for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. (You will go through Castroville, Hondo, and D'Hanis.) When you get to Sabinal, you will turn right at the only red light in town (FM127) and follow it for 20 miles to Concan. You will come to US HWy 83 just past Concan. Take a right onto US Hwy 83 (heading North), you will go about 22 miles, passing Garner State park and through Leakey, Texas. We are located 3 miles north of Leakey on Hwy 83. From South San Antonio: Take Hwy 90 West and follow the directions for Houston (top of the page) From North San Antonio: Get onto I-10 Westbound. Take the 'Mountain Home' exit and turn left at the stop sign onto Highway 41. Follow Hwy.41 for about 25 miles to Highway 83 (there is a small store / gas station at this intersection). Turn left onto Highway 83. Continue on 83 for about 24 miles. You will pass Highway 39. We are 3 miles north of Leakey on Hwy. 83. From Dallas, Ft. Worth: Take Hwy.67 southbound to Hwy.220 south to Hico Take Hwy.281 southbound, all the way to Johnson City to Hwy.290 Follow 290 westbound to Fredericksburg.
