Dougherty Orchard

Established in 1883, Dougherty Orchards is celebrated as Indiana's oldest family-owned apple orchard. Nestled in Cambridge City, we have been cultivating apples for over a century, crafting cherished memories across generations. We take pride in not only growing a diverse range of apples—33 varieties to be exact—but also a selection of pumpkins, pears, and vibrant sunflowers.

A trip to our orchard offers more than delightful fruits; we also provide an engaging experience with our Petting Farm. Visitors can stroll around our pond teeming with lively Koi fish and get up close with various farm animals, adding fun and learning to their visit. Our 1883 Winery adds an elegant touch, showcasing our latest wines and beer creations.

During the summertime, guests indulge in our famed strawberry doughnut sundaes and refreshing strawberry slush drinks. As the season turns to autumn, we offer seasonal treats, including apple dumplings, fresh cider, and appetizing apple cider donuts. Not to mention, guests can take part in apple and pumpkin picking, which is available seasonally, making their visit both interactive and rewarding.
