About Us

The East Lansing Farmers Market (ELFM) offers a serene open-air setting, conveniently located near the MSU campus and downtown East Lansing. Visitors can enjoy a diverse array of fresh, farm-grown Michigan produce and products. This includes vegetables, fruits, artisan bread, cheese, meats, coffee, maple syrup, honey, and flowers among others.

For the 2025 season, the market will be open from June 1st to October 26th on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Valley Court Park, 280 Valley Court. Please note, for safety reasons, animals are not allowed in the market area, except for certified service animals.

What sets ELFM apart is our commitment to being a 100% homegrown market. Our vendors are required to grow their own produce or create their own goods, ensuring that visitors only receive authentic local products. Seasoned shoppers can preview what will be available each week by checking the weekly shopping checklist on the ELFM website.

We also accept various programs to assist our community including Senior Project FRESH/Market FRESH coupons and SNAP/Bridge cards. Additionally, through a generous grant from the Fair Food Network, the Double Up Food Bucks program gives customers a dollar-for-dollar match on their purchases, up to $20 per day, that can be spent on fresh Michigan-grown fruits and vegetables.

Lastly, ELFM is thrilled to host special events and activities throughout the market season. These activities can be regularly checked on our special events webpage. We extend our thanks to our loyal sponsors and underline our dedication to inclusivity and anti-racism, holding these values central to our market operations.
