About Us
Finch Frolic Garden Permaculture was a haven for sustainable practices, welcoming thousands of visitors for enlightening tours and workshops since its inception in 2011. Founded on permaculture principles, our garden developed into a verdant ecosystem that educated and inspired others to adopt regenerative practices. Though we have now closed and I, Diane Beeler, have retired, our mission to foster environmental stewardship continues to resonate with the community, thanks to the support and engagement from visitors and clients over the years.
Our food forest offered a dynamic learning experience, demonstrating the art of permaculture through meticulously structured walks. Visitors witnessed first-hand the integration of native and resilient plant species and the importance of sustainable water management. The Finch Frolic Garden's unique ecosystem, characterized by serene pathways and flourishing wildlife, stood as a testament to the potential of permaculture in addressing environmental challenges.
Even as we prepare to move out of state, I am committed to keeping our informative blog up and running. Permaculture's significance in our world cannot be overstated, and encouraging homeowners to adopt these practices remains a personal passion. From creating rain catchment basins to using mulching techniques, our garden has showcased various methods to harness and manage natural resources responsibly.
I am grateful for the collective involvement of friends, followers, and fellow permaculturalists who helped sustain and promote our garden's ethos. As Finch Frolic Garden moves into a new chapter, we hope these principles continue to inspire and establish new paradigms of ecological care and planning, ensuring a greener future for all.
