About Us
For over six decades, the hills of North San Diego County have been transformed into a stunning showcase of natural color, thanks to the profusion of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers. Covering 55 acres, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, come to life each spring for about six to eight weeks, from early March to early May. This annual floral display has become an integral part of the local heritage, marking the arrival of spring in Southern California.
The Flower Fields offers a serene and picturesque setting where alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited. Visitors are welcomed to enjoy the vibrant beauty, but must leave pets, Emotional Support Animals, drones, balloons, and bicycles outside.
With structured pathways and breathtaking views, the farm is meticulously maintained to ensure that visitors can fully immerse themselves in the spectacle of nature's colors. The remarkable display of blooms is remarkable not just for its size, but for the careful planning and coordination that ensure every visit offers a different vista.
