Gale Vineyards is home to a selection of award-winning, handcrafted wines that we are proud to say exemplify a perfect blend of Old World techniques and New World innovation. Nestled in the beautiful Butte County, our vineyard is dedicated to producing wines in small batches, meticulously crafted from the finest, hand-selected grapes. Our approach to winemaking is inspired by techniques perfected over centuries in regions like France, Italy, and Spain.

The story of Gale Vineyards started in the spring of 2001 when Steve and Creasia Gale planted the first vines. Our estate varietals, grown with organic farming practices and dry farmed, yield rich, concentrated fruit. Our dedication to quality continues with each vintage, carefully balanced and artfully aged in French oak barrels.

Located just seven miles from downtown Chico, we offer our guests a warm welcome to visit our tasting room, open every Saturday. We invite you to experience our estate wines, including our popular Estate Series featuring Primitivo, Albariño, Rosé, and Mélange. Each wine bears the hallmark of the care and craftsmanship we invest in our vineyard.
