The Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village will host its Harvest Celebration on Oct. 10 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Discovering Our Agricultural History.” Activities will include arts and crafts, agricultural games and activities, wagon rides, and corn shucking contests. Hay rides and the Museum’s Vulcan steam-powered train will take guests around the Village throughout the day. Demonstrations in soap-making, basket weaving, and other traditional arts and crafts will also be available to visitors of the Museum during the Harvest Celebration. The Museum is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission to the Museum, Gallery, and Historic Village is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children.
