About Us
Grace Heritage Ranch, spanning 160 acres in South Texas, offers a unique agritourism experience. Established in 2010 and deeply rooted in the Christian concept of God's grace, it provides seasonal events for families, schools, and anyone wishing to explore the charm of ranch life.
As a veteran-owned operation, Grace Heritage Ranch was inspired by Brian and Mary Schalk's journey from Wisconsin to Texas. Throughout the years, it has grown to be a beloved destination for encountering agricultural life while engaging with an array of animals and natural surroundings.
The ranch hosts various attractions, including ranch tours, evening activities on the expansive premises, and events designed to engage visitors of all ages. With its deep connection to nature and focus on education and fun, Grace Heritage Ranch encourages both learning and leisure in a rustic setting.
As shared on Facebook in April 2020, all ranch activities ceased as of May 31, 2020, as the Schalk family planned to begin a new chapter of retirement from their multifaceted service endeavors. Although the ranch operations have ended, memories of joyful visits and meaningful connections remain cherished by those who participated.
Throughout its operation, Grace Heritage Ranch was committed to offering a genuine taste of country life, highlighting the beauty and wonder of simpler, pastoral environments in Southern rural areas.
