Welcome to Greenbriar Farm Alpaca-MAM Consulting Assoc. Inc., where our passion lies in developing a line of high-quality, true black Huacaya alpacas. Located just 20 minutes west of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, our farm has become a haven for these remarkable creatures. We embarked on this journey in 1997 with a commitment to excellence in alpaca breeding, focusing on creating alpacas with outstanding conformation and fiber quality.

Our journey began with extensive research, visiting over 150 various alpaca farms and attending numerous shows nationwide, arming ourselves with the knowledge necessary for success. Despite starting with no prior livestock experience, the support of mentors and veterinarians has been invaluable in our growth. We continue to strive for improvement through constant learning in animal care and husbandry.

At Greenbriar Farm, we place a significant emphasis on education, using histograms and selective breeding practices to ensure our alpacas meet high standards. Our goal is to produce alpacas with a shearing weight of 10 pounds and a fiber micron count of 20 or below. We believe in sharing our knowledge through our 'Evaluate to Excellence' program, which aids prospective alpaca owners in making informed breeding, purchasing, and herd enhancement decisions.
