At Harvard Alpaca Ranch, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming environment where visitors can experience the charm of alpacas. We currently care for a herd of 34 alpacas on our farm, nestled on 5.7 acres of picturesque farmland, with easy accessibility from Route 495 and Route 2. Committed to sustainability, we run primarily on solar power, supported by solar panels and the lush pasture grass. Our dedication to creating an earth-friendly habitat ensures that our alpacas live in a comfortable and healthy environment, contributing to the production of high-quality fiber used in our luxurious products.

Our Alpaca Shop is a treasure trove of delightful alpaca goods, offering a range of products including yarn, socks, hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, blankets, and a variety of souvenirs. If visiting in person is not an option, our Online Alpaca Shop provides a convenient alternative for browsing our selection.

We invite guests to participate in farm tours and learn about alpacas and our farm’s operations. These tours are conducted on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed to check in through our Alpaca Shop, where they can explore our offerings. Additionally, we provide services like professional shearing of alpacas and sheep, alpaca-assisted therapy, animal boarding, mentoring for burgeoning farms, and rentals for special events.

Visitors can enjoy a walk around the Ranch, observing our alpacas at play and grazing on wide-open pastures. We strive to make our farm accessible to everyone, though we recommend appropriate footwear due to potential challenges posed by snow, ice, and mud in certain seasons. For those unable to visit due to pets, service animals are welcome, although alpacas might get a bit anxious in their presence.
