Heirloom Blooms

Guests of Heirloom Blooms at Acres Wild Ranch are provided with unique opportunities to choose their own adventures in agritourism! We offer Wildlife Habitat and Viewing Areas to hike and explore safely with binoculars from our Nature Trail and Scenic Overlook. Navigate the path using a map and compass, or take a geocaching challenge course through the hilltop or farm. Join us for an interpretive tour or program, enjoy the shaded picnic areas, stroll through the native and botanical garden exhibits, or just relax in a hammock and read! Take a bite out of history in our heirloom vegetable and herb gardens and our heritage fruit tree orchard. Overnight cottage guests are greeted with a fresh picked bouquet, and are invited to be proactive about low impact tourism by utilizing our sustainable composting, recycling, and energy/water conservation guidelines. Participate in service learning activities by helping restore native grasses and wildflowers while on the property. Or take part in our many daily farm, garden, animal husbandry, and homesteading projects. In the evenings, find creative inspiration in our Hill Country sunset and our starry skies. Acres Wild Ranch is just an hour from Austin or San Antonio, and minutes from the San Marcos, Blanco and Guadalupe Rivers. Guided off site adventure tours and packages of Hill Country vineyards, BBQ’s, Farms, Local State Parks with Fishing, Canoeing, Tubing, Glass Bottom Kayaks, Horseback Riding, Stand Up Paddle boarding, and Zip Lining may be arranged.
