About Us
Natural Bridges Farm, operated by the Homeless Garden Project, has been a staple in Santa Cruz since 1995. Our mission is centered around providing a second chance to those experiencing homelessness through our organic farming initiatives. We launched a successful capital campaign in 2016 to fund a permanent home for our programs. This farm was the pioneer CSA in the county and continues to produce premium organic produce, helping us fulfill our social purpose of support and rehabilitation.
Visitors are always welcome at our 3.5-acre farm located on Shaffer Road. We offer a farm stand with a wide selection of seasonal vegetables, and the farm remains open for visitors Tuesday through Sunday. In addition to selling produce, we focus on training and nurturing individuals, creating a supportive community environment in Santa Cruz.
Our organic farming techniques have been certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers since 1991. By not relying on chemical pesticides or herbicides, we promote a healthier environment and provide fresher produce. Our approach supports biodiversity, enriches soil health, and contributes positively to the local ecosystem, making it a valuable investment in a sustainable future.
