About Us
Hopeful Hill Ranch is situated on 28 acres of diverse land that includes horse pastures, serene ponds, lush meadows, and a mix of oak and conifer forests flanking Deer Creek. Our operations are powered by solar energy, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.
We're proud to have received the Nevada County Conservationist of the Year Award. This recognition underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship and responsibility.
Throughout the year, our ranch serves as a hub for learning and community engagement. We've hosted a variety of educational seminars and workshops that focus on essential skills such as pond care, pasture management, irrigation techniques, rural road maintenance, and effective ranch management. Additionally, we open our doors to school children and small groups for enjoyable chicken tours.
We also focus on cultivating rich community relationships through initiatives such as the Kentucky Flat Firewise Community and supporting local producers like Hill Folk Farm.
