JH Stepp Farm's Hillcrest Orchard

JH Stepp Farm's Hillcrest Orchard is a three generation family farm in operation for ovaer 40 years. Opened mid-August through October seven days a week, the farm offers 22 varieties of pick your own apples, and pick your own grapes and pumpkins. No admission is charged. School and group tours are avaialble with a reservation. Weekend wagon rides through the orchard are offered. Prepicked apples are available as well as baked goods, jams, jellies, honey, crafts, gift shop and good family fun. From I-26 in Western North Carolina take Exit 49A. Travel 4.5 miles to Pace Road on the right. Go 1 mile to Stepp Orchard Drive on the right.
