Welcome to Jules J. Berta Vineyards & Winery, Alabama's first producer of vitis vinifera wine grapes. Nestled at an elevation of over 1100 feet, the highest in the state, we take pride in growing a variety of grapes including Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay, Petit Syrah, Blaufrankisch, and Sylvaner. Our vineyard offers a unique taste of southern hospitality and an authentic farmer's perspective.

At our winery, you can enjoy tastings of wines crafted from our estate-grown grapes as well as locally produced sweet muscadine and fruit wines. We are excited to share our handcrafted wines with you and offer an experience that truly feels like home. The winery hours vary, with extended times from Thursday to Saturday to ensure you have ample opportunity to visit us and experience everything our vineyard has to offer.
