Lamplit Farm

We offer draft horse drawn rides for all occassions, on our farm or at your chosen site. We have informal wagons for hayrides, wagon with bench seats, surrey w/fringed top for more formal occassions, and a large flat bed sleigh (sleigh available on farm only). Rides at the farm are taken around the farm property, through fields and along forests that overlook the Oneida Lake basin. Views of approximately 50 miles on a clear day. Also available on the farm is a large 3-season pavilion with a handicapped accessible restroom. Pavilion can be open, or sliding doors can be closed in cooler weather. A wood stove offers a place to warm up on a cool day. Picnic tables and a refrigerator are available for your use. If you choose a ride at your location, we will do our best to accomodate any special requests to make your event a special one. From Syracuse, NY: Route 5 East to Chittenango. Route 13 South (approx. 5 miles) to Chittenango Falls. Left onto Falls Road. Straight onto Carey Hill Rd. 1/2 mile up Carey Hill, on left. Gray house, red barns, large Lamplit Farm sign in front.
