About Us

Welcome to our farm, where you can visit the Lardworks Fiber & Glass Studio. Our tours offer a unique opportunity to meet gentle alpacas up close and learn about their origins, care, and the fascinating process of turning their soft fiber into wearable art. We also have a variety of hands-on fiber art classes, which include all the necessary materials and a farm-to-table style lunch to ensure a delightful experience. These classes cater to all skill levels, making them perfect for both novices and seasoned artists.

Our farm is not just about alpacas and fiber arts, though. We also offer online class video tutorials for lampwork glass beadmaking and various felting and fiber arts, all available at your convenience. Additionally, our studio offers unique jewelry designs inspired by the rich textures of our environment, as well as custom graphic design services.

In our YUM section, we delve into foraging, gardening, and creating delicious meals with ingredients grown or found on our farm. Visitors can savor farm-to-table recipes like Sweet Potato Caramel Walnut Crunch Bread or Mountain Morning Honey Corn Pudding. Exploring our gardens and greenhouse, you'll find it easy to see why we emphasize playing, not working, in the garden.

For those interested in learning beyond the farm visit, our Class Schedule provides a wide range of workshops, from ecoprint dyeing to needle felting a sloth, inviting you to explore your creativity.

Whether you're interested in taking a tour, attending a workshop, or simply exploring our beautiful land and learning about sustainable living practices, there's something for everyone at our farm.
