About Us
A short stroll away is the National Park where you can witness America at the brink of the Civil War. Once inside the park, you can explore the campus of the former Storer College – a landmark in the emerging campaign for African American civil rights. Explore the unique and natural wonders of our area while hiking along the C&O Canal or Appalachian Trail, paddling down the Potomac or Shenandoah Rivers, and biking nearby country roads. Or you may prefer to simply unwind on our rustic porch that overlooks the unspoiled Potomac River gorge. In the evening, enjoy a good book or socialize by the hearth. Rest in comfort in our spacious guest rooms with luxurious linens and period furnishings. After a good night's sleep, wake to the smell of fresh coffee. Get your day off to a great start with our delicious breakfast featuring the bounty of local WV farms.
