Lava Cap Winery & Vineyards

Located high in the Sierra Nevada foothills at 2700 feet, Lava Cap is a third-generation family-owned estate. Our vineyard is renowned for its unique volcanic soils, which have been weathered from ancient ash flows. These conditions cultivate intensely aromatic and flavorful wines. We source our mountain-grown grapes from some of the highest vineyards in California, resulting in wines with rich, deep fruit flavors.
