Life Lab Science Program

Life Lab has been instrumental in integrating experiential learning with the joy of gardening since 1979. Located on the UCSC Farm, we have built a reputation as a national leader in garden-based education. Our approach combines hands-on experiences with a well-rounded curriculum to inspire a love of learning, healthy eating, and environmental stewardship.

Our programs are designed to engage and educate through innovative training and workshops. These initiatives have empowered tens of thousands of educators to create dynamic outdoor classrooms across the nation.
