About Us
We offer a tranquil environment centered around the enchanting herb, lavender. It provides a sensory experience that entices visitors with its natural beauty and alluring aroma.
The story of our farm began in 2005 when Tim and Mary Hamer visited the lavender fields of Sequim, WA. Inspired by what they saw, they planted their own field in the picturesque Loess Hills of Iowa in 2009. Over the years, our family continued to build upon that dream by constructing a greenhouse, erecting a working windmill, and expanding the craft store to host special event receptions.
Today, our lavender farm not only showcases the aromatic fields but also encompasses wildflower conservation acres teeming with various pollinators. We've created educational spaces such as the 'Birds, Bees & Butterflies' area, and whimsical spots like a fairy garden, gnome garden, and troll bridge.
As active members of the US Lavender Growers Association, we proudly maintain natural grounds, provide peaceful experiences, and host unique events for the public. Our future plans include introducing beehives to produce Lavender-Honey, planting a new lavender variety, and even constructing a small church for wedding photos.
The farm has hosted thousands of lavender plants over time and will continue to welcome guests to experience the unique qualities lavender brings to the senses.
