About Us
Welcome to Mercier Orchards, nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge, Georgia. Founded in 1943 by Bill and Adele Mercier, our farm is now a fourth-generation family and veteran-owned orchard known for its delightful offerings. We pride ourselves on our rich history of cultivating a variety of fruits and creating a hospitable environment for our visitors. Whether you're looking for freshly picked fruits, homemade baked goods, or our specialty ciders, there's something here for everyone.
Our market hosts an array of fresh seasonal fruits, veggies, and farm-favorite specialties such as jams, jellies, preserves, and apple butter, ensuring a delightful assortment of flavors for visitors to discover. The bakery is a sweet haven within our market, where we prepare fresh apple cider donuts and our famed fried pies daily, providing an unforgettable taste experience.
With over 80 years of farming expertise, we offer U-Pick events where visitors can select from strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and more than 40 apple varieties. Engage with us in our winery and hard cidery, where we are proud to be Georgia's only orchard pressing, fermenting, and canning our own hard cider. We invite you to our tasting room to savor these unique beverages, coupled with southern hospitality.
Mercier Orchards is not just a farm; it’s a gateway to delightful experiences including various events and activities, making it a top agrotourism destination in the south. Read more about our journeys and farming insights through our blog, which covers farm life and offers popular recipes.
