Michigan Garden Plant Tour

We are thrilled to welcome you to the 22nd annual Michigan Garden Plant Tour, a free and expertly coordinated open house showcasing leading young plant producers of ornamentals alongside the beautiful Michigan State University grounds. Our primary objective is to educate both growers and industry professionals about the diverse range of new and existing plant selections and demonstrate how these plants can thrive in various outdoor settings.

During this two-week event, greenhouse growers, landscapers, garden center operators, and nurserymen are cordially invited to visit each of the participating tour sites. You will have the opportunity to learn about a wide array of ornamental crops, including some of the most popular commercial brands of both annuals and perennials. This offers a remarkable chance to observe plant performance in diverse locations, whether grown in the ground or in containers.

Join us in celebrating the "Best of the Best 2024" at each of our participating greenhouses with insights from Heidi Lindberg, the Greenhouse and Nursery Extension Educator. The galleries showcase top-performing plants, providing videos and articles for in-depth exploration of the selected crop highlights.
