Unique and personal weddings, honeymoon and vacation getaways, and hand-crafted spa and soap products made with organic farming methods are waiting for you at Mountain Farm! Stop by any time, or join us for our annual Lavender Festival. Visit a working farm: bottle feed kids in season, hike the trails, picnic at the pond, or sit in a chair in the lavender field and just inhale. Please call ahead. (828)675-4856. Our small herd, hormone and antibiotic free, includes registered Saanen, and Nubian goats. Their fresh milk is collected each morning and then goes into the handcrafted soaps we make right here on the farm. A variety of heavenly lavender blooms from June to September. We distill the essential oils of the flowers, and the soothing fragrance can be found in almost all of our artisanal bath and spa products, or culinary lavender, and it creates the natural border for the new meditation labyrinth. From May through October you can stay in Blueberry Cottage. The beautiful and romantic cottage and the private land surrounding it are perfect for a unique and natural wedding here at Mountain Farm. We have been established for 36 years and have been Certified Organic and Naturally Grown for the last 10 years. We are dedicated to preserving our land as a farm that provides safe, natural and beautiful products. We enthusiastically embrace organic environmental methods to protect these woods, pastures and streams. As the farm prospers, we will be able to increase the number of workers from our rural community. These goals are the foundation of sustainable agriculture and the farm stewardship association. From the East Take Interstate 40 all the way across to the Marion, Hwy 226 exit (Exit #86). Turn RIGHT off the exit ramp and follow 226 past Marion. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 70 (big intersection with a traffic light and a Wal-Mart). Go 1.5 miles. Turn RIGHT on Hwy 80. This is a long, winding road up the mountain. At the top of the mountain, you'll go under the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stay on Hwy 80 for 7.8 miles past the Parkway. Turn RIGHT on Seven Mile Ridge Road. Cross the bridge and turn LEFT. Take your first LEFT on Halls Chapel Road. Mountain Farm is approximately 3/4 mile down on your LEFT. From the South (including the Asheville airport) Go NORTH on Interstate 26 West, following signs for Asheville. Go EAST on I-240 towards Asheville. I-240 will merge with several left lanes at a big bridge; get in the left-most lane as you cross the bridge, in order to exit LEFT onto Hwy 19 / 23 NORTH. Signs are marked for Weaverville. Take Hwy 19 / 23 past Weaverville and Mars Hill. A couple of miles beyond Mars Hill, take Exit # 9 and turn RIGHT on Hwy 19. This will take you through the countryside and past Burnsville (which you'll see as a handful of traffic lights). 3 or 4 miles past Burnsville, turn RIGHT on Hwy 80 S. Go down the hill, and turn RIGHT on Hwy 80 again. Go 6.5 miles. Turn LEFT on Seven Mile Ridge Road. Cross the
