About Us
Myrtle Glen Farm is a picturesque 27-acre sustainable farm located in the foothills of the southern Oregon coast range mountains. We emphasize organic farming practices and sustainability in our cultivation of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and mushrooms. These fresh products are made available to the local Coos community through our Weekly Farm Box and also sold at Coos Head Coop and other local markets along the coast.
Our farm features lush pastureland with goats and alpacas, a century-old conifer forest, and a pristine mountain creek that extends throughout the property. Guests can enjoy beautifully appointed rooms in the main farmhouse, which is surrounded by a bountiful orchard, flourishing flower beds, and hand-tended vegetable gardens. This serene and beautiful setting is perfect for a tranquil retreat or an inspiring getaway, far from urban chaos and bustling highways.
We, Micha and Dan, are the proud owners and operators of Myrtle Glen Farm. Taking over in 2015, we have expanded the farm's offerings and continue the legacy of organic farming established by previous caretakers. Our Wild Coast Brew tea company uses herbs cultivated and foraged locally to craft unique, hand-blended loose leaf teas available online and across various stores in Oregon.
An essential part of our farm's success comes from our volunteers who assist us in realizing our vision of sharing food, knowledge, and a sense of community. Although we are currently closed to visitors due to COVID-19, we intend to reopen when safe.
