Nottely River Valley Vineyards

Nottely River Valley Vineyards, LLC is proudly family-owned and managed, the vineyard and winery were founded in 2008. Our vineyard spans 10 acres within a 93-acre family farm that's cherished since 1820. We cultivate a variety of grapevines including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Primitivo, Pinot Gris, and Riesling, as well as the French Hybrids Chambourcin, Chardonel, and Seyval Blanc.

Our viticulture practices are geared towards quality production, utilizing high-density plantings, meticulous leaf pruning, and cluster thinning, ensuring top-tier fruit for winemaking. Our winery is designed underground, embracing a gravity-flow system, and benefits from geo-thermal cooling to maintain optimal conditions in the cellar.

Our winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, drawing inspiration from the 'Old World Style, Hand-Crafted' European wines. We celebrated our first harvest in the fall of 2011, releasing our inaugural 2011 vintage on November 1, 2012.
