April 13-14, 2013 - 49th Annual, Juried Fine Arts Festival in Cedar Key, Florida: Step back in time on the West Coast of Florida - 1 hour west of Gainesville and 3 hours North of Tampa. Known as "Natures Coast," the area features national bird sanctuaries - coastal paddling - an amazing (and delicious) Clamming and Oyster Industry in addition to two days of INSPIRIING ARTS AND ARTISTS. Plus, local, fresh, home-made food at the festival, offered by the town's non-profits. Tour the Clamming Co-op where they grow clams from seed for a year before placing them in the Gulf to mature (another year) into the famous and delicious "Cedar Key Sweets" clams which are flown all over the world.
