Owen Farm Tours and Barnyard Friends has been inviting people to join them on their farm for 4 years. Owned and operated by David and Pattie Owen and their three kids for 26 years, Owen farm caters to all ages. Activities include everything from egg hunts and seed planting in the spring to pick-your-own pumpkin patches and a 5 acre corn maze in the fall. If you enjoy spooks, visit the farm fall during the last week of October to take a haunted trip through the haunted maze and barn. Have a go at the "no-kick-cow" to see how much milk she gives. Throught the year people can be found visiting the Cabin on the Hill to enjoy the antiques and celebrate the founding of Jamestowne. December finds Santa at the cabin during the weekdays for tours and on the week-ends for a night time hayride to the cabin to visit Santa and to enjoy the live nativity scene. Bring a picnic lunch or enjoy a hotdog at the farm. Plenty of free parking. The cost is $5.00 per person 2 and over. Additional cost would include pony rides, seed planting, no-kick-cow, pumpkins and more. Come and down and visit us, make memories or just relive the past, anything is possible here at Owen Farm. Turn right off of Riverside Drive in Danville, Virginia, travel 7 miles up Mt. Cross Road and take a left hand turn onto State Road #868, Silver Creek Road, go 1.3 miles and the farm is on your right.
