Locally grown farm produce includes a wide variety of vegetables, luscious orchard fruits and berries, artisan bread and baked goods (including gluten free), fresh laid eggs, delicious honey, maple syrup, jams and sauces, tasty regional cheeses, pastured meat and poultry, fish and seafood straight from the boat, specialty mushrooms, fresh herbs, prepared foods, field-grown flowers, plants, and starts. Products change seasonally. Take home freshly harvested food grown, picked, and brought to market by local farmers. Meet your neighbors and make new friends at the café tables under market umbrellas in the center of the marketplace. Chef demonstrations with tastings featuring peak of the season products with recipe handouts alternate with John Street Jam produced live music. Children’s activities and special events that include Opening Day (May 24), Strawberry Fest (June 14), Garden Tour Lunch (July 12), Summer Fun (July 26), Farm Animal Day (August 30), Tomato Taste-Off (September 13), Garlic 2.0 (October 4), and Halloween Tricks & Treats (October 25).
