About Us
Silloway Maple combines traditional sugaring methods with the latest advancements in technology to produce some of the finest maple syrup and products. Located in the scenic setting of Randolph Center, Vermont, we've been crafting award-winning maple syrup, sugar, cream, and candy since 1942. Our family-run farm is recognized for its sustainable woods management, utilizing wood-fired and solar-powered operations, underscoring our commitment to renewable resources and environmental stewardship.
Here at Silloway Maple, sap is collected from a staggering 27,000 trees. We pride ourselves on the art and science of maple sugaring, transitioning from using horses and buckets in our early years to employing modern techniques like reverse osmosis. Our products include pure Vermont maple syrup, cream, granulated sugar, and candies, which can be sampled and purchased in our sugarhouse store.
During your visit, you can explore the sugar woods, learn about our history, and participate in informational tours. We invite guests to experience firsthand how this natural, wildcrafted food is made, from tapping the trees to boiling the sap. While reservation isn’t necessary for standard tours, we welcome arrangements for large groups and special gatherings.
Our family’s hospitality extends year-round with free tours and samples. Hiking trails wind through our maple forest, presenting an ideal setting for picnics and family outings. We hold special events such as the Spring Maple Open House Weekend, offering a unique opportunity to witness our sugaring operations and savor delicious maple-based treats.
