The Sublett Place

This restored family home has been in the family since it was built in 1970. Nestled within a large Christmas tree farm, the Sublett Place exhibits a panoramic view. The farm has large open spaces and lots of grassy fields to run and play. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed at the top of the hill where the house is located. You will not believe your eyes!! Be sure to bring your camera!! The Sublett Place is near the historic, cultural, university town of Blacksburg. (The Virginia Tech Airport is minutes away). Almost everything you would want to do is available in the area. Fine restaurants, elite shops, and tranquil spas are available. The Appalachian Trail crosses the road just below the The Sublett Place. Boating, fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, camping, canoeing, skiing and other sports can be found on the notable New River or in thevicinity. The Cascade features an amazing waterfall. Some people choose bird watching or whitewater rafting. The New River Gorge National River is another wonderful place to visit in the area. For the true golfers at heart, there are numerous public and award-winning courses. If you are in Blacksburg on Wednesdays from 2 p.m-7 p.m. or on Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., you may want to visit the Blacksburg Farmer’s Market. Among the many items you will find at the market are fresh vegetables and wholesome foods. (Buy Fresh ~ Buy Local!)
