About Us
Our farm is a seasonal marketplace open every Saturday from May through September, offering fresh, locally-grown produce, plants, hand-crafted products, music, events, and community outreach. Shopping with us provides a unique experience, directly benefiting farmers and producers and allowing access to unique products and heirloom varieties. More than just a market, it's a community get-together where you meet neighbors, friends, artisans, and farmers. Your patronage helps sustain local business, keeping more dollars within our community.
Founded in 2005, the Tenino Farmers Market operates as a 501c(4) non-profit organization. As a proud member of the Washington State Farmers Market Association, we conduct our market aligning with their Roots Guidelines alongside our policies.
Our mission is about fostering a vibrant and sustainable community farmers market providing access to healthy local food, supporting local farmers, growers, and artisans, and offering a community-benefitting gathering place. Our goal is to educate about the advantages of fresh, local farm products and sustainable agriculture, enhancing access to nutritious food.
We offer a variety of nutrition programs designed to strengthen the community link to locally harvested produce. Our sponsored initiatives, like the "Full Circle Harvest" program by Timberland Bank, connect fresh products to local food banks and offer Market Bucks promoting healthy food choices. This support extends through redeemable SNAP/EBT, WIC, and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition program vouchers.
