About Us

At Paragon Farm, we offer a unique experience at the Thomas Galloway House Bed and Breakfast, where you can enjoy warm homestyle hospitality amidst calm and picturesque country scenery. Our guest rooms are adorned with antique furnishings and provide enchanting views of the expansive grounds and mature perennial flower beds.

We take pride in serving a hearty country breakfast in our dining room, and for those on-the-go, picnic lunches are available upon request. Our guests often gather in the spacious living room or unwind on the porches or the stone patio near the herb bed.

Our location is well-situated with several local attractions close by, such as the Erie Canal, Lake Ontario, and renowned LDS sites. Built in 1855 by skilled masons who worked on the Erie Canal, the home largely retains its original charm. Dating even further back, the homestead was first settled in 1790 with three log cabins and remains a place of history and beauty, boasting trees estimated to be 500 years old.

The farm features a converted gambrel roofed barn, which represents a fusion of post and beam structures with gambrel conversions from the early 19th century. The block Milkhouse, erected in 1912, is a testament to the dairy cattle heritage of the farm. Many of the plants on our property were commonly used for dyeing wool, reinforcing our ties to traditional practices.

We participate in the New York State Department of Conservation woodlot program, thanks to our abundant grove of Black Walnut, Oak, and Maple trees.
