About Us
The 25-acre UCSC Farm and 3-acre Alan Chadwick Garden are organically managed sites located at the UC Santa Cruz campus. Both the Farm and Chadwick Garden are open daily to the public from 8 am - 6 pm; no admission required, although you must pay for parking on campus on weekdays before 5 pm. The Farm and Garden run a twice-a-week Market Cart selling fresh-picked produce and flowers on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12 noon to 6 pm at the East Entrance to the UCSC campus (corner of Bay and High Streets in Santa Cruz), from early June through October. The Friends of the Farm and Garden sponsor a year-round slate of gardening workshops and seasonal festivals. Self-guided and docent-led tours are available. The Life Lab Garden Classroom, a premiere children's garden, is located at the UCSC Farm. See the website for details and directions.
