About Us
Welcome to the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, where we celebrate the rich music, culture, and natural beauty of the Tennessee Delta. Here, you can explore a variety of attractions, including the world’s only Tina Turner Museum, housed inside her childhood school, the Flagg Grove School. Visitors are invited to step inside the historic home of blues pioneer "Sleepy" John Estes and enjoy over 8,000 square feet of exhibits devoted to West Tennessee's music, cotton industry, and the scenic Hatchie River.
Conveniently located just off Music Highway (Interstate 40 at Exit 56), midway between Memphis and Nashville, in the historic town of Brownsville, Tennessee, our center offers a unique Southern experience. Browse our gift shop featuring local and regional handmade items and discover the authentic charm of the South.
Engage with us through an array of events and tours that highlight our cultural and historical treasures. Our dynamic exhibitions and activities provide exceptional insight into the distinctive heritage of rural West Tennessee. Whether you’re interested in educational tours or music history, we offer experiences for everyone.
